We need to recall Dianne Feinstein from the senate. Her upcoming 'assault' weapons ban is based purely on fearmongering.
Defining what is dangerous by its appearance makes no sense and will do NOTHING to increase safety. She has made it obvious that she does not understand what a modern sporting rifle is, nor does she WANT to know what they are, and the differences from an actual military weapon. Her proposed bill would require registration of all weapons, would classify many of your sporting and home defense PISTOLS as an 'assault weapon'(anything with a detachable magazine), and stated that firearms already owned would be grandfathered in, but as an NFA weapon. watch for more info: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDglpt8hpyg
