Recall United States Ambassador to Uganda, Scott H. DeLisi.

Created by J.C. on February 24, 2014

We petition President Obama to send a loud and clear message regarding human rights to the government of Uganda by recalling U.S. Ambassador DeLisi due to the Ugandan government's passage of a particularly oppressive and punitive anti-LGBT law and subsequent anti-LGBT comments made by President Yoweri Museventi.

In a Feb. 24, 2014, CNN interview, President Museventi said the following about LGBT persons: "They're disgusting. What sort of people are they? I never knew what they were doing. I've been told recently that what they do is terrible. Disgusting."
