Constantinople, and Alexandria were once centers of Christian theology and worship. They are thus part of Western cultural heritage. Both cities were wrested from the West by sword and by fire.

In order to preserve its cultural heritage, the West must reclaim its lost treasures, those cities that were taken from us by force. This petition, if successful, will urge the administration to take all necessary steps to reclaim Alexandria and Constantinople and, after a time, transfer them to the stewardship of the European Union.
