Reclassify Border Protection as National Security

Created by J.R. on January 16, 2013

Every day the national sovereignty of the United States of America is violated by foreign nationals, including those involved heavily in criminal enterprises such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, child sex slave industries, gang activity, and international terrorism. This is not a question or matter of law enforcement but one of national security and common sense. With border protection in its current status, we are prohibited by Posse Comitatus from using our military to protect our national territory. It's the equivalent of not using the U.S. Marines to guard American embassies overseas.

Reclassify border protection as a matter of national security and allow the U.S. Military (in conjunction with CBP and DHS) to deploy as many units to the border as is needed to close it down.
