Reclassify the Ft Hood shooting as an Act of Terror, to provide the affected Military families with appropriate benefits

Created by H.L. on August 20, 2013

The shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, was an obvious Act of Terrorism perpetrated by the Jihadist Nidal Hasan. The crime was incorrectly and unconscionably classified as "Workplace Violence", an outrageous, political act.

This false classification is a slap in the face to the United States Army, the soldiers who were killed and injured, the survivors and the families of these brave soldiers.

This false classification also denies the wounded and the dead the proper recognition for their service and sacrifice and denies their families appropriate benefits.

Nidal Hasan himself has proclaimed himself as a Jihadist and has pleaded guilty to the crime and admitted that it was an act of Jihad.

We the undersigned hereby demand that the crime be properly reclassified as an Act of Terrorism.
