Rescheduling Marijuana would ease restrictions in place that prevents millions of people from getting the discounted help they need. The rise in prescription costs and overdoses in this country should not be allowed to continue with a competitive option available. We are supposed to be a capitalist society and the pharmaceutical companies having a monopoly on healthcare by disallowing state legalized groups from banking, research, or possible legal ramifications is unacceptable. Anti-trust laws were put in place to prevent this type of price gouging. Only, in this case, its not just one company, but an entire industry lobbying to prevent their overinflated prices from being reduced and cutting into their billion dollar profits.
