Over a third of our state governments recognize that this plant DOES have a strong medical value and DOES NOT belong in the Schedule I group.
This unreasonable and ridiculous classification of this plant, is and will continue to block areas of scientific and medical achievement- until we take some sort of positive action. We request of YOU, Mr. President- to do the will of your people and start the process of reclassification of the cannabis plant. We ask for simple reclassification or to remove it- entirely from the Schedule I category group in the Controlled Substance Act of 1970. We ask of you, sir, to act quickly- so that our nation may continue to lead the world in medical and scientific technology, without the bureaucratic and misguided obstructions that exist, under the current law.
