Look, I get that fruits are technically tasty little natural morsels that contain seeds. And I get that sunflower seeds are tasty little natural morsels that contain seeds. But let's be honest with ourselves: sunflower seeds are not fruit. That's a ludicrous notion. Honestly, somewhere along the line the scientist who devised this arbitrary categorization scheme abandoned anything resembling logic and reason, and swore fealty to obvious stupidity. No one looks at a sunflower seed and a pear and says "yup, one label ought to do it. No further categorical subdivisions necessary." So dumb.
