Reclassifying Marijuana from Schedule I Designation

Created by T.S. on October 03, 2015

Reclassifying Marijuana from Schedule I Designation:

In Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act . According to the Act, these drugs must fit three criteria:

They are highly addictive
They have no medically accepted use
There is a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision

Most experts and reasonable people believe that NONE of these criteria should apply to cannabis.

In four states, Colorado, Washington, Alaska, and Oregon, the sale and possession of marijuana is legal for both medical and recreational use; and Washington DC has legalized personal use but not commercial sale.

Twenty-three states and the District of Columbia have passed laws allowing some degree of medical use of marijuana,

This change will allow changes to banking & criminal laws next
