Call upon the President to recognise that Amendment 1 of the Constitution:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
supersedes Article 1, Section 8 where it reads:
"To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;"
Consequently, as copyrights and patents are abridgement of the freedom of speech, that all such copyrights and patents are null and void. Likewise, any and all laws meant to enforce such copyrights and patents are void.
