The Kurdish people after being the victims of a gruesome genocide by Saddam Hussein, and the defenders of a secular state free from the ongoing violence in Syria and Iraq, are demanding to be recognized by the United States. America being a nation of freedom, should protect the freedoms of people worldwide. This nation is acting on its own, free from the Iraqi, and Syrian governments,and is currently in peace and alliance with the United States, but is still not recognized. May democracy out rule theocracy.
