In recognition of the Toby Keith Covel (alias Toby Keith) for his continuous support of our Troops in the last decade.

This petition requests that American singer-songwriter Toby Keith Covel (alias Toby Keith) is recognized with the Congressional Medal of Freedom for his inspirational works since September 11, 2001 in support of all who have fought to keep us safe. Very few in our lifetime can match his sincere dedication to our Heroes--his countless tours to entertain, motivate, and support our Troops in area such as Iraq and Afghanistan, the songs he has written and sung in dedication to our Heroes (“I’m an American Soldiers, Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue), and his tremendous contributions to our Wounded Warriors and family of deceased Service men and women. As a former "Army Brat” himself, Toby has become the Bob Hope of the post-9-11 Generation and an inspiration to all who have worn the Uniform
