Supporters of "Die Hard for the National Film Registry" are reaching out to the Obama Administration for their support and endorsement of DIE HARD as an American classic. We seek out their nomination of DIE HARD for the National Film Registry.
The National Film Registry is an important collection of important American films which includes THE WIZARD OF OZ, GONE WITH THE WIND, CITIZEN KANE, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, and STAR WARS, just to name a few.
To be selected in the National Film Registry a film must be at least 10 years old and be "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” DIE HARD fits these requirements. The Board that selects films for the Registry seeks public votes and DIE HARD needs a nomination from the Obama Administration for its inclusion in the Registry.
