The 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution was directed as much towards the government of our Republic as it was to any other entity. The 2nd Amendment does not protect only the rights of hunters, sportsmen, and target shooters, but also patriots, veterans, and citizens when it comes to defending against encroachments upon the natural rights of man. It is the natural, inalienable right of any citizen to defend himself against encroachment by an overreaching, omnipotent government who attempts to violate his status as a citizen, patriot, and taxpayer.
