Currently, the Declaration of Independence states that "all men are created equal." In order to uphold and keep alive the true spirit of America, and our devotion to individual freedoms and equality, this phrase should be altered or amended to read "all people are created equal."
It should not read "all men," nor should it read "all men and women." It must include all humans in order to keep in tune with the progress we have made thus far. If not, we must turn back the clocks to a time in history when public opinion supported things which are now considered completely unconstitutional.
