In the past, the United States was the leading producer of clothing, furniture, and electronics. Today, millions of Americans are without a job and without hope. Why, in a country of such innovation, are our businesses and workers unable to compete with their counterparts in Asia and Central America?
The answer is the cost of hiring workers. At the minimum wage, it is hard for many American workers to compete.
