The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) drafted by The United Nations is a model for the world to follow. Decisions made by any major and influential power such as the the president and other officials in the United States executive branch should show respect for certain basic human rights. We the people acknowledge that the administration uses guidelines set mainly by the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States of America. However, officially following the UDHR would help influence the international community to embrace the basic human rights laid out in the UDHR.
