Recognize and take action against the deplorable situation of the Navajo Indian Nation and their lack of clean water

After watching a CBS news report on the dire situation of the Navajo Indian Nation and their lack of clean, free-flowing water on their reservation, I am stunned! It is such a shame to live in a country that not only refuses to recognize the injustices of the past when it comes to our Indian Nations, but continues to systematically disenfranchise them through the insufficient lands that they were given; land that is not capable of sustaining them or their way of life. It's hard for me to grasp how mistreated and forgotten our Indian Nations have become. These are the very people whose ancestors once lovingly cared for this land before they were senselessly ripped from it and cast away like discarded garbage. It is time we as a country take responsibility for our ignorant attitudes/behavior
