Andrew Clement Serkis has preformed multiple Oscar worthy roles through the art of motion capture in such films as the Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Although British, he is a pioneer and master of his craft and it is the belief of this petition committee that he should be recognized as the world's leading authority in this art via two actions by the Obama administration: 1) Hold a press conference recognizing Andy Serkis as the master of his trade and one of America's leading actors 2) declare December 5th as Andy Serkis Day where everyone may be excused from work and school to have Andy Serkis movie marathons from the comfort of their homes and with their families.
