On November 17th, 2012, the long awaited third movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy premiered in almost every movie theater in Japan. For every person who was eager to see it in Japan, there were five people who were just as eager to see it in the United States. However, due to whatever reason(probably Obama), the movie failed to make its debut in American movie theaters. In Japan, the Anime industry rivals that of Americas Hollywood. In some cases the production quality, story line, character development, and soundtracks actually surpass that of major motion pictures. I believe that if America capitalized on the Anime business, it would not only bring an under appreciated art form to the US, but it would also solidify US relations with my second favorite country.
