Global climate change is not just a risk to endangered species and animals, it is puts the entire human species at risk. Ninety-eight percent of scientists agree that global warming is happening. The benefits of reducing greenhouse gases are numerous. Most greenhouse gases come from the burning of fossil fuels, fuels which are non-renewable. We can secure our economy and future by reducing and eventually eliminating fossil fuel use. We ask congress not to entertain false science and the persuasion of oil and energy companies that are concerned only with their profit margin and pass legislation to help curb greenhouse gases while heavily promoting the research and development and eventual use of renewable energy sources.
