The Armenian genocide was carried out by the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1923, and resulted in the deaths of over 1.5 million Armenians, 750,000 Assyrians, and 500,000 Greeks.
There is no excuse for the USA to not recognize the Armenian Genocide. This is not just a human rights issue but this is a moral issue as well. It is wrong to not recognize something that is so obvious and something that is well documented as fact.
We plead with the US Government to recognize the atrocities committed by the Ottoman Empire as Genocide.
