In 1915 the Turkish government created a plan to massacre and deport the Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire. By the end of this plan around 1.5 million Armenians were killed at the hand of the Turkish Government. This petition's main focus is to have the president of the United States acknowledge the Armenian Genocide and to pressure Turkey into doing so.
