We petition President Obama to use the word "genocide" when marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on 24th of April, 2015. Considering that every major historian has supported the use of the word "genocide" when describing the systematic annihilation of over 1.5 million Armenians between the years 1915 and 1919 and that the Government of Turkey has been alone in its opposition to the use of the word "genocide", we request the President to continue in his recent path of calling for social justice by using the proper word "Armenian Genocide".
