From 1915 to 1923 the Ottoman Empre (modern day Turkey) systematically exterminated the Armenian people. In the space of 8 years two-million Armenians were totally wiped out. Over twenty countries recognize this act as genocide, and it's time the US joined them. To not act on this simply because of the trade agreements between Turkey and the US is a travesty, and is grossly disrespectful for the Armenian people.
