recognize ASL as a language and a language of instruction for deaf babies and children. It is important.

Created by O.P. on December 05, 2012

I have studied ASL in college and recognized that people that are deaf are capable to communicate their every need through sign language. In learning, it was very frustrating to sit in a class where people sign and understand each other and as a person who can speak realised that every being can communicate thriough a language whether ASL or other spoken language. Everyone should have equal right and opportunity to live life to the fullest. Why do people who are capabale of speech control the decision of others. I personally see ASL as a perfect means of communication.
