Recognize an "assault" weapons and "high capacity" magazine ban is a useless scheme, and that it is not acceptable.

I disagree with the idea of banning "high capacity" magazines and "assault" rifles, because doing so will do nothing to reduce crimes. By doing away with those rifles and magazines it will do nothing but impact the innocent law abiding citizen in a negative way. The problem is not with how difficult it is to purchase a firearm, or concealed carry, or anything else a law abiding individual has the right to do. The problem is with mentally ill individuals having too much information of where a firearm is in their house, or they know a gun safe combination, etc... Also there needs to be a better way for these ill people to get psychiatric help. One MUST remember guns are not dangerous, criminals and certain mentally ill people are. Please take this note into consideration, thank you.
