Cantonese is widely used in southern China and some western countries such as England, U.S, Canada, and Australia. It is also the most used language in Hong Kong and Macau. According to a report, until 2007, more than 60 million people used Cantonese as their daily language. However, due to the growing population in Mandarin speakers, Cantonese in China is no longer being popularized or spread. The population of Cantonese speakers is shrinking year after year. For the goal of preserving Cantonese, the most important part in Cantonese culture with over 500 years in history, the recognition of Cantonese need to be done.
