On May 6th, 2013, Mr. Ramsey heroically broke down a Cleveland, Ohio neighbor's home and rescued Amanda Berry, a woman who had been missing for over 10 years. The subsequent police search lead to the freeing of several others, and it has also raised serious questions. Why, in 2013, are pretty little white girls still not hugging black men unless when in danger or living in abject poverty?
We are asking President Obama and Congress to recognize this holiday to raise awareness to our cause and to create dialogue between PLWGs and black men. We'd also like Congress to investigate ribs & salsa music.
