It is the right of citizens to create and preserve audio and/or video recordings of any interactions they have with public servants and/or government officials. This right needs to be established and recognized by the judicial system and law enforcement.
A public official fully respecting and fulfilling their duty to the public in the manner they are dictated to by their office/department should have no hesitance to having their interactions recorded. If they are truly performing their job as it was intended, such a recording should only serve to reflect that.
This right is essential to protecting the general welfare of US Citizens from public servants and government officials who would abuse the powers of their office/position to serve alternate agendas.
