Recognize the continuing existence of the Duwamish Tribal Nation and fulfill the Point Elliott treaty of 1855.

To gain Federal recognition and the rights granted to the Duwamish tribe by the treaty of Point Elliott. Although a tribal member, I do not represent the tribe itself.
In the waning hours of the Clinton administration, The President signed a order recognizing the tribe but the Bush administration almost immediately put a stop to it.
All I ask is for the president to undo the wrongs of the past and make a brighter future for Seattle's first people.
