Recognize that decent, law-abiding citizens SHOULD NOT be punished for the acts of criminals.

We, the people of this great nation, call upon this Administration, our Representatives, Senators and others in leadership to act. We call upon you to IMMEDIATELY recognize that good, decent, law-abiding citizens SHOULD NOT, in ANY way, suffer punishment (in the form of over-reaching legislation, executive orders or beaurocratic fiat, at the Federal level), for criminal acts committed by lone individuals. We recognize (as should you) that criminals and many with mental illnesses DO NOT obey/follow our laws. Any further legal/legislative impairment put upon the people for acts we weren't involved in, will give the impression that political expediency is more important than a lasting solution. We call upon you to enforce existing laws, rather than create new, meaningless measures IMMEDIATELY
