Recognize that dental care is an important and integral part of healthcare & should be part of health insurance plans.

Created by K.F. on November 13, 2012

Dental health is important. Among other issues, poor dental health can cause numerous respiratory and bacterial problems, some fatal. Dental plans rarely pay more than $2000 per year; most are capped at $1,250. If one needs a root canal, their coverage instantly evaporates after the root canal is complete. Including dental care as an integral part of healthcare and health insurance plans is smart and in the broad interest of public health. We pay in the long run if the dental problems become respiratory, etc. in which case medical coverage is used. Why not prevent those disease processes from beginning? Cosmetic dentistry is not included unless on teeth that had disease processed requiring crowns or implants.
