Recognize discrimination against people with tattoos in the workforce, And profiling by law enforcement.

Created by A.A. on December 27, 2012

We ask that the government recognize the discrimination that goes on in this country against people who are tattooed. They are denied jobs and opportunities, based solely on what they look like. Law enforcement operates under the assumption that anyone with a tattoo is in a gang, Or is a criminal. This is profiling and is illegal. Around 40% of the U.S. population has tattoos, Therefore it is time to recognize the shadow discrimination that goes on in this country. A person should not be judged based on religion, sex, or ethnicity nor by the fact that they have tattoos. Of course any tattoos that violate others civil rights or are actual gang tattoos are not included in this petition. We ask only that we be judged by how we act not how we look.
