Military personnel at Eielson Air Force Base AK were exposed to lead, arsenic, chromium, copper, nickel, zinc, trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (trans), lead, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), benzene, xylene, trichloroethylene, toluene and Polychlorinated biphenyl and more. This is reported from Environmental Protection Agency 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, DC 20460. Service members and their families were ingesting this from the water system on site, as well as residents of North Pole AK & Moose Creek AK. 25,000-40,000 gallons of industrial waste were generated annually from 1950-1982. This is very similar to Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and yet not recognized as such. Military families need to be cared for related to injuries incurred.
