Recognize the existence of World War I Interment Camps that were present in the United States and apologize to the families who had ancestors unfairly kept in these prison-like camps.
The history of these internment camps has never been told and an apology never given, unlike that of the Japanese Internment Camps during World War II. This is unfair to those who have had the same experiences but their history forgotten and no apology ever received.
The families of those who had individuals in World War I internment camps were deeply affected and the deserve an apology for the treatment their relatives received.
