Recognize Firearm Personhood

Created by D.Y. on January 17, 2013

Recognize the personhood of firearms.

This act is precedented by the recognition of corporate personhood as an interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Benefits:

Accountability in court: firearms can be held personally accountable for crimes (ex: accomplice to murder)

End to discrimination: the discriminatory practice against automatic and assault weapons can finally end, much like how Brown v. Board of Education dismantled racial segregation.

Patriotism: firearms are persuasive, efficient, honest, hard-working, and embody the American spirit.

Love: given how attached some people are to their significant firearms, their love should be recognized. We've made huge strides in GLBTQ rights, and men and women should be free to love their guns.
