Recognize the Fort Hood Shootings as a Terrorist attack, and not an occurence of Workplace violence.

Created by J.N. on April 02, 2013

On November 5, 2009, Major Nidal Hassan opened fire at U.S Army Base Ft. Hood. Once everything was said and done 13 people were dead and 30 were wounded.

Due to the United States Department of Defense, and President Obama not recognizing this as an act of Terrorism, but instead of an instance of workplace violence the victims are not entitled to any aid, or compensation commiserate with what happened.

A major point of contention here is he didn't target any civilians; he only targeted U.S Armed Forces members.

It is common knowledge that Major Hassan was a practicing Muslim, who disagreed with the War, by carrying out his attack on his own, he fell into the category of "Lone Wolf Terrorist" that doesn't require ties to a larger organization to ascertain it is in fact a terrorist attack
