On April 13th, 2015, President Vit Jedlicka established a new micronation on terra nullius (no man's land) between Croatia and Serbia. Liberland, a 7 square km parcel of land along the Danube River, does not interfere with any other state sovereignty, and is looking to be a very successful libertarian micronation. We petition the United States and President Obama to formally recognize the Free Republic of Liberland as a nation, and to establish positive diplomatic relations with President Jedlicka and Liberland.
