Another April 24 is coming, which means that for the fifth year in a row, President Barack Obama has broken his solemn promise to call the century-old Armenian genocide a "genocide" on Armenian Remembrance Day. All Armenians around the world hope that the truth will be said. I hope that Mr Obama, will not be influenced by political issues, meaning from Turkey.
As a Senator and later as a presidential candidate, Obama pledged repeatedly to recognize the Armenian Genocide, stating, “America deserves a leader who speaks truthfully about the Armenian Genocide and responds forcefully to all genocides. I intend to be that president.”
