The initial warning of devastating environmental changes at 1 degree was covered up. 2 degrees is complete devastation. Global Warming is destroying our biosphere and damaging the oceans so severely already that we need to cease industrial civilization immediately. The demise of our own species is almost certain at this point and we need to remove carbon from the atmosphere to have any chance at surviving the 21st century.
