Recognize the greatness of Sen. Obama's speech on the debt ceiling

Created by K.T. on September 19, 2013

Senator Obama spoke often and eloquently about the debt ceiling. He porperly described George W. Bush's actions on raising the debt ceiling as "unpatriotic" explaining that he was raising the limit on a credit card in our name, with a debt obligated to our children. These remarks show how well Senator Obama understood the implications of raising the debt ceiling and the patriotic, constitutional duties of good fiscal stewardship.

I would ask that the American people recognize the qualities of good leadership exemplified in this speech and that the president deliver this speech again to the American people, along with his feelings about it.

Remember the greatest words of Barack Obama "It is unpatriotic to raise the debt ceiling".
