Recognize the hard work of the Salvation Army during Sandy and discredit the Red Cross for the lack of a response.

Created by D.H. on December 17, 2012

During Hurricane Sandy, The Red Cross had promised to help fund and run Emergency Relief Shelters; however, they failed to do so. In fact, the Salvation Army was the main respondent to the call for aid. There was a lack of Red Cross volunteers at the shelters, yet, they were still accredited with playing a major role in the relief aid for citizens of the east cost. This is extremely disappointing.
