recognize the health of American individuals

Created by C.H. on February 15, 2013

The rate of Americans that use tobacco is slowly decreasing but is not decreasing fast enough. Despite declines in recent years, in 2011 nearly 1 in 3 male high school students (28%) and nearly 1 in 5 female high school students (19%) were found to be current users of some type of tobacco. Is this what we want from the children of tomorrow? Tobacco kills 400,000 people each year and our government knows this but is not doing anything about it because it brings money to them. Selfish is what it sounds to be. I understand money is hard to handle, but when it comes down to harming our fellow Americans, I think it is wrong. Lets make tobacco illegal.
