While the United States of America is, and hopefully forever will be, a proud and independent democracy, it is our Historical duty to apologize to those we rebelled against. By recognizing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of House Windsor as our symbolic Head of State, the United States could be welcomed into the Commonwealth of Nations. This action would better enhance Anglo-American relations international as well address the international financial crisis. The national fondness for Monarchical culture would be explored as the sitting President of the United States could hold the symbolic title "Archduke of Washington". Other Dukedoms, Earldoms, and Bishoprics could be established as it pleases her excellency.
