In addition to the petition to recognize the heroism of teacher Victoria Soto in the horrendous tragedy in Newtown, CT, we humbly petition the President of the United States to also recognize posthumously school psychologist Mary Sherlach and principal Dawn Hochsprung, who ran at the gunman in an attempt to stop him, and recognize Kaitlin Roig and Maryann Jacob for their bravery in barricading the doors of their classrooms against the killer, by awarding all of them the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
