Recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

The United States should recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The American colonists fought for their independence from the tyrannical British Empire and became a self governing nation. The people of Nagorno-Karabakh fought for their independence from tyrannical Azerbaijan and became a self governing nation. One major difference between the United States and Nagorno-Karabakh is that the United States is recognized internationally as an independent nation and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is not. Our Declaration of Independence points out the same ideologies that the 150,000 people of Nagorno-Karabakh believe in. California, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island recognize the independence of NKR. It's time for the USA as a whole to do the right thing.
