recognize the individual right to consume/possess/grow marijuana and stop enforcement of the unconstitutional ban on it.

Created by B.J. on February 17, 2013

Rights are by there very nature non-violent. The right of non-violent self-determination is key to being a free person. The right to control ones body & to control what a person puts into their body is key to being a free person. Alcohol & tobacco, both lethal substances are available to the public & available in lethal amounts, yet marijuana, which is not lethal, is illegal. The federal government grows marijuana for 5 people, yet it is illegal for all other Americans. The federal government needs to recognize the individual right to smoke/ingest/consume/possess/grow marijuana and stop treating non-violent individuals as criminals. The claim of marijuana rights is founded in the 9th and 10th Amendments. The government has not been granted this power of denial by the Constitution.
