Publicly affirm Israel's right to defend itself, including before the UN & cut off all American aid for Hamas, including to the Hamas-Palestinian "unity government."
The disproportionate number of Palestinians that have died is because of the violence started, and perpetuated by, Hamas. While Israel attempts to minimize casualties, Hamas exploits the civilian population that lives in Gaza, using them as a human shield for military targets. Hamas base command centers, weapons storage facilities and concealed rocket launchers inside civilian neighborhoods.
Israel is attempting to protect civilians, including Muslims, Christians, and Jews, who are under constant threat of Rocket attacks.
Pressure Hamas, not Israel.
