This petition is to bring awareness to the homeless veterans crisis that is currently ongoing in the United States. Recognizing their sacrifices for this country and acknowledging a personal battle on their home soil. The battle of PTSD, homelessness,drug and alcohol addiction, inability to connect with resources due to lack of money, cell phones, transportation and physical disabilities.
By having a day of recognition for those who are currently lost in their own battle, we can encourage individuals, politicians and corporations to step forward and offer assistance to the many programs offering a hand up to our heroes and guide them to a life of freedom.
